4 month shot & not a peep!

Yesterday Clementine had her 4 month shot. It was her second installment of the DTaP and we have finally found the magic time period (we hope) for using the lidocaine (a Rx we got from her doctor). We put it on her thigh about an hour before she got the shot and she did not cry *at all*.

Seriously.

We laid her down on the table, I held her hands while the nurse gave the shot. Clementine just looked at me the whole time & I told her she was OK & it was no big deal. When it was over (aprox 4 seconds) we got her up & left.

Thank goodness for lidocaine! I hope (and pray) every shot experience goes this smooth in the future!
